In Kerala Break pipes of passenger train found cut

Malappuram: In a shocking incident here break pipes of the Nilambur-Shornur passenger train were found cut in 20 places Thursday. Primary assessment says that it was a deliberate attempt and not an accidental one.
The train which was to start its journey from Nilambur at 6.30 a.m. Thursday had halted its journey at the station at 9.30 p.m Wednesday.

The broken pipes were detected as the train was preparing to start the journey. Only an official of the Railway Protection Force was keeping watch on the train overnight.

Officials later announecd that the schedule stands cancelled because of the incident.
